In short
Caraway CO2 extract is a supercritical carbon dioxide extract of caraway seed, Carum carvi: strong, fresh, spicy and warm, rich in carvone and limonene, and rounder than the distilled oil.
What Caraway CO2 Extract smells like
Eden Botanicals describes its German caraway CO2 extract as strong, fresh, spicy, woody and warm, a middle note, and says CO2 extracts of spice oils are preferable in aroma to steam-distilled ones (a supplier claim). Aromata gives a composition range of 75–95% essential oil with 45–75% (S)-(+)-carvone and 25–50% limonene. Première Peau notes that a CO2 extract keeps more non-volatile compounds and is rounder and less sharp than the distilled oil.

Formulation considerations
Mostly (S)-(+)-carvone and limonene, in ranges that vary by origin; carvone is covered by an IFRA Standard. A different preparation from distilled caraway oil. Eden Botanicals gives CAS 85940-31-4 for the CO2 extract while other listings give 8000-42-8, the distilled oil's number, so no number is given here.
