The levels

Level 10

Safety, IFRA, Regulatory Compliance and Quality

IFRA Standards, allergens, phototoxicity and regional rules, with each claim tied to its current primary source.

18 lessons · Outcome: A compliance review of one of your own formulas, marked with what a qualified assessor must confirm.

Level 11

Commercial Fragrance Development

Reading briefs, working to cost, sourcing, reformulating, testing and presenting to a client.

16 lessons · Outcome: A response to a mock brief within a stated cost, with revisions recorded.

Level 12

Professional Portfolio and Capstone

An independent project from research and concept through formula, cost and regulatory review to a professional case study.

11 lessons · Outcome: A capstone fragrance and a portfolio case study. Completing it does not confer a qualification.

What you need

Your own formulas to review, and access to the current primary sources for your market. These lessons teach you how the work is done and what to ask. They do not replace a qualified safety assessor, a lawyer or a regulator.

How long it takes

The reading is a few weeks of evenings. The capstone is a project of several months.
